Hi there!My name is Laura Ashley Galvan and I am a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin, where I received my master's in advertising with an emphasis in strategic planning. I have a bachelor's degree in mass-communication with an emphasis in public relations/advertising and a minor in marketing. 

In addition to attaining my masters degree, I am currently working as an Assistant Account Executive for Martin Retail Group where I work on the Buick and GMC account and help manage 21 western region LMA markets. I previously interned at RPA as a Strategic Planner where I had the opportunity to work on accounts for ARCO, Tempur Sealy, LA Clippers, and Dole. Prior to this internship I was also a Marketing Intern at Q1media for Fall of 2015.

My prior work experience includes: Copywriting and managing accounts for Sabre Industries, developing/coordinating production of marketing and promotional materials for the Jaymes Willoughby Team; doing public relations work for the United States Census Bureau; handling accounts as the Corporate Marketing Sponsorship Intern for the N.B.A Development League; and writing for my student publication, The Panorama Magazine.

Other random facts about me:

• In my spare time I eat an unhealthy amount of Mexican food.

• My favorite brand  is Taco Bell.
